There are those posting largely in support of the management team who think that there are new faces needed particularly in those two positions.
The frustration for me is when people seem to be wholly unaware that we have had significant offers rejected and project that Clough doesn't want a striker
The distinction isn't tantrum or no tantrum, there are shades of grey. Everyone at the club knows we need someone to put the ball in the net, Clough even acknowledged it yesterday, and they've had bids turned down for forwards. It's not as if they dont know and aren't doing anything about it; they're seeing the same things as us, they're saying it in public and they're trying to do something about it - Evans would have had 5 in by now, and not seen 4 of them play. It's like kicking off because you want some sweets, whilst walking through the sweet shop door. We're all frustrated, but bloody hell if we didnt get out of our half yesterday then we'd have something to moan about, but we missed a penalty, at least 3 one-on-ones, around double the amount of shots the home team had, and should have beat the team currently at the top of the league at least 5-0, at their own ground - their manager even said they got away with one. This is 4 days after some were saying the performance against Derby was one of the best in recent seasons. I genuinely dont know how people think.
