Arrived at 7:25, by 8 o'clock I was still 500th in the queue. Nobody being let in the upper tier. When ticket office got my money back. At home listening to radio.

Only 6800 there, including 1600 from Derby. It's a bit baffling, when the West Stand was sold out this morning.

Loads of empty seats at the bottom of our block (F), which were greyed out as sold on the ticketing site.

Are we still under a capacity restriction? The away end holds 1910. QLE hold a few more but under 2000. The IG west stand holds over 5000. At least 7000 but a sold out home end is 6000-odd. Are we under a 10% reduction in capacity?

I'm speculating, but I think that a lot of seats were unavailable for sale online, to allow for people turning up last minute. That's the only explanation I can see for the discrepancy.

Tickets went off sale at 1800 according to the club post on Twitter.

I noticed that as well, also that Martin was puzzled by the attendance figure, assuming that about 1300 turned up and bought tickets just before the match. It's hard to explain what went on.

On a related topic. Need to sort out some form of queue control at back of West Stand, a bit chaotic imho. A barrier system/control if possible to separate the IGU and IGL turnstiles queues, and separate those waiting for beer and food. A difficult one to resolve I admit, but on my arrival at ground I thought I was in a queue for the IGU turnstile and ended up in a queue for Sandy's Bar Loos

There were plenty of tickets in west stand and QLE when I checked in the afternoon?

I checked in the morning and there was about half a dozen. So I didn't bother checking again. Sounds like there's some sort of complicated system in place.

I was that poor bugger. From what I can gather cos I never got within 50 yards of a turnstile. IGU North end has 2 turnstiles, 1 not working at all the other playing up intermittently. Before people tell me to turn up earlier let's say roughly 1k people had to enter the ground there. As the stewerd pointed out that's where your ticket is for you can't use any other entrance. Because of the problems it took 80 minutes to get that many in, it opens 1 hour before kickoff so if all 1k are there' when the turnstile opens some PAYING CUSTOMERS will miss the first 20 minutes. Yes these things happen but that's both game so far this season. Nobody seems to know how to fix the turnstiles and there's no one with any authority there to make a decision about getting people in quicker. I would just like to know if anyone at the club with the authority to give the bloke who fixes turnstiles a bell to come and have a look is aware of the problem.

You are also waiting for fans to get their ticket up on their phone screen and then get it to scan like the fans in front of me.
Turnstile 14 was closed at the IGU North Stand End but Turnstile 13 was open. Some fans do not like using Turnstile 13 for obvious reasons.
It needs to be renumbered.
My printed at home paper ticket worked first time whereas my season ticket took 4/5 goes on Saturday.

There were still people taking their seats in P block 20 mins after kick off. People need to get used to the fact that with bigger crowds, you can't leave it until 5 mins before kickoff to start queueing.
We went in at 7.25 with no problems.

The bigger crowds and arrival time add to the problem, but all other parts of the ground didn't have an issue. The reason is the turnstiles don't work. All summer and two games to get it working. Someone gets paid to take responsibility for this. Just get it sorted rather than spending your time welding the gate to the north stand shut.

It worked fine for me with the QR code on my phone.
They seem better than the barcodes on the season tickets.

Yeah the QR codes were faultless compared to ST on Saturday… makes you wonder why we didn’t put QRs on the STs?

My QR code on my Apple Wallet didn't work Saturday but did last night.
I assume it was more a system issue rather than the type of code.

Indeed. Didn’t always reach the Club though unfortunately.
