Derby have a lot of pace and some quality players and if they have any sense put a strong squad out.
Clough will not let this go and will field his strongest side like i said usually cup money goes into his players pot.
Our defence will be tested against quality balls and pace, 2-1 Mansfield

Maybe it's just me but I thought there would be more. Guess that shows how well our crowds are increasing over the years

I’m surprised it’s that low baring in mind they’ve sold out the north stand and we’ve pretty much sold out the west stand.

Only my opinion but I don't think these games are meaningless at all. While I'm not saying it will happen here NC has been to 3 Cup Semi finals as a League One manager and each of those runs started with a "meaningless" game that fans wanted him to put out a weakened side.

He'll want to win this one for a lot of reasons but I think the biggest will be for the boost in confidence we'd get from it.

Both seasons so far, beating Sunderland away, then last year beating Donny as well turned the mood of the whole club and fanbase around and beating Derby tonight could be huge.

Now having said that, I think we may be forced into 3 or 4 changes anyway due to knocks and I fancy he'll rest Hawkins and go back to a back four. We could bring in any of Clarke, Lapslie or Hartigan for Boateng but I can imagine if he's got any chance at all of getting through 70 minutes both NC and Hiram himself would want him on the pitch.

I think we've got a fighting chance whichever 11 he picks.

To quote Kevin Keegan... I'd love it if we beat this lot.

I don't disagree that we have a chance but I wouldn't risk injured players just to try and beat Derby.

Poor from RC, elitest ala the Prem teams in the domestic cup competitions. Pitkin gets my vote to carry on if we win tonight.

Trying to buy a ticket for my son, keep getting an error message on my mobile, switched to PC, same error, it seems to keep trying to buy my own seat, which I have already bought ages ago and so is giving me this message:

There are some errors with your selection:
An unknown error occurred - please try again.

When I try again the same thing happens. One less ticket sold for tonight, I wonder how many have been similarly affected and given up? Might explain why we have only sold 3,800.

Edit: Finally got in on my phone, says the only seats available are a few on the front row of A Block and a few in D Block QLE. We've either sold 3,100 seats today or something is wrong, again!

For the Rotherham game it said almost all the lower E block had sold out, so I couldn't have my normal seat, however when I got there, there were rows and rows of seats available.

Does it class the reserved season tickets as filled even though both the Rotherham game and tonight weren't season tickets?

Those blocks were greyed out indicating they were full, but when you click on them I see there are a handful of seats available - maybe the ones greyed out have only single seats left. Looking forward to a huge crowd tonight then, at least 8,000 based on the ticketing website - we'll see tonight I guess.

There were a few Forest lads on my Pronto coming into Mansfield so I'm guessing we might get a few from there. I heard one of them beginning to question why they were going to the game and he got the following reply "well its better than sitting at home playing with yourself" (polite version). I think we should put that on a poster for the next home game, might get a few more in!

Clough has just been on BBC Radio Five live news talking about the game.

I had another look at getting a ticket today, but it seems that a lot of West Stand seats aren't for sale (are blank on the plan) and almost all the rest are sold (greyed out). On top of the ticket hassle, it's going to be hot getting to the ground, I currently can't walk very well and can't stand up for long, so I'll settle for the iFollow commentary. Looks like the attendance will be around the 8000 mark!

Either that or the ticketing system is as useless as the old one!
