Akins gets the ball outside the area and slides a ball for Oates to run onto and he fires a shot on goal and the Salford keeper tips it away. Stags corner. We waste it.

Asante up against Hewitt, nearly gets past him but a great tackle dispossessed asante.

Up the other end and Macca puts a low ball into the middle and Akins from 4 or 5 yards appeared to try to flick it in the goal and misses it ends up out to Bowery whose weak low ball is cleared by Nartey.

Salford attack. Just a light jog towards our retreating back 3. He shoots from 22 yards in a central position but it rises over the bar.

Macca and Quinn combine down the left Macca crosses and Oates divert towards goal and the keeper block and the ball goes straight up and keeper collects on the floor.

Salford attack and turns Harbottle inside out and bent a low shot towards goal loooked to nestle in the far corner but Pym makes an excellent save to put it behind for a a Salford corner.
