Stephen Quinn confident Mansfield Town can come back stronger after Port Vale defeat
chad.co.uk, By Stephen Thirkill, Tuesday 5th July 2022

Stephen Quinn is confident Mansfield can come back even stronger after last season’s play-off final defeat.

The Irish midfielder believes Stags can channel the pain of the Port Vale defeat and use it as a positive learning experience for the tough season ahead.

“It hasn’t been a long off-season, but it is nice to see the lads again and the ball,” he said.

“The spirits are good. Football moves fast and we can’t dwell on what happened.

Such a brilliant interview. I think the relationship Steveo has built with the squad and the staff helps to make these in depth interviews much better than standard player chats.

Got to love Quinny, really hope he has another cracking season, minus the daft sending off.
