Those who’ve had a ST for say 3 years or more get first dibs and so on.

however i can’t see one being introduced.

Don’t suppose you’ve had a season ticket for three or more years have you?

And the rest.

That was my idea if they had one in place.

Personally i hope there isn’t one, nor do i think there is much need to bring one in.

There’s always going to be someone who misses out when the away allocation is less, guess it’s just a case of who you know ;)

Just put up a quiz online with multiple choice pictures of obscure former Stags players. You have to get 75% of them right before it takes you onto the ordering screen

Keep it as close to what it is now.
Loyalty scheme will end up seeing our away ends packed with the old guard and the crappiest atmosphere.

Most weeks it won't be an issue, unless we're romping the league, on games when it is an issue, well you snooze you lose.

From next season have a priority season ticket, people can play full price during the early bird offer and receive priority ticketing over other season tickets. Limite to 1 per ticket.

I've followed the Stags for 65 years and I go to all the away games. I am disappointed that you feel that although I will be at Barrow, Carlisle, Gillingham, Sutton and Newport you would rather not have me at Grimsby or Donny because I'd rather sit and watch the football rather than stand at the front jumping up and down,in between going to the loo at regular intervals to get rid of the 6 pints of lager they've drunk.

It’s all getting a bit Chesterfield.
As Sneag has already pointed out, there’ll be a handful of games where it’s an issue, hopefully.
Can’t knock the pre season excitement though. Long may it continue.

It's a sporting event and having fun is fine until it ruins the experience for others, as it often does when we take large followings away, which is the point Bros is making. Not everyone has to get pissed to watch football.

We should just have a system that's fair and transparent. Whether that's first come, first served online or some sort of away pass you have to pay for. The problem with the old system is that it relied on queuing up in person (not practical for a lot of people) or the lottery of the phone system as to whether you got through (either at all or got disconnected after waiting 10 minutes). Hopefully the new system will at least be fair even if it is first come first served.

Well said NE. I'm sure DS will have a good system in place. Salford will see if it needs tweaking slightly for the next big away game at Donny in early September.

So will you be able to buy away tickets online then through this system?

Extra pint for each drink bought? But a deduction of 10 points if you aren’t back in your seat before kick-off? :D

And I'm disappointed that the pleasure of leisure time that comes with retirement has left you with a sense of entitlement over us working age wage slaves simply seeking escapism in our otherwise mundane lives

Maybe there could be a specialist pensioner section away.

I see both sides, last season i was told repeatedly to sit down but didn’t do so as those infront of me were stood and weren’t going to (scunthorpe).

You do feel for those who want to sit for whatever reason, but also you can’t do much about it.

I really like going to away games but hate it when I get in my seat an hour before kick off then loads of the well oiled fans surge in and stand up the whole game and we have to stand up too or not see the match.i may even consider going in the home end so i can watch the match from my seat.My season ticket is in the Ian Greaves upper and everyone stays seated until we score then we stand up and celebrate then sit down again.

Good pointers there from Geoff on what to do should a goal be scored.
I always find things easier once I know the protocol.

Good protocol advice but not as good as the advice given by Cpt Blackadder to Pt Baldrick on the protocol if one happened to step on a landmine.

I would say try to sit nearer the front if you can, most of the ones making the atmosphere and standing are usually at the back or near the back.

What do you do if someone stands up in front of you and you're in the wrong stand then?
