Hopefully he'll be better this season and won't get his skull fractured again. I am still impressed he didn't retire after that.

Well done James. He's one of us.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I assume the lack of news about Quinn means he is probably retiring, As gutting as it is to lose him, if a players heart isn't set of carrying on then we shouldn't be bending over backwards to convince him otherwise.

Chuffed about Perch, another year is brill then add him to the staff.

Quinn, not resigning could either help us by letting Maris, boateng laps etc really push on and get a run of games or could badly miss his experience. Just for me I think it was obvious he wasnt as effective last season and we need better to go one step further

It’s still only two league wins without him in the squad since he joined.

We were less effective without him imo. Especially Macca!!! Quality partnership down the left.

Given Perch would sign
Love Quinn but let’s face it he is past his best and can’t do more than a half which is no good for us getting out of the dreaded League 2

I would be sorry to see Quinn leave but don’t think he is irreplaceable.

He’s worth his contract for his enthusiasm and always seems capable of rallying the team.

I agree, I think if he could contemplate being a, half game player now that we are moving to 5 subs then he is worth his weight in gold.
He is one of the real high quality players and Clough often referred to the high numbers he was turning in on his stats

This could be one of the implications of moving to 5 subs

Not worried about Quinn if he has a role to play here he will do it, perhaps still on holiday no news is good news.

From the final few seconds of the interview on iFollow, on what will it take to get us over the line next season, Perch said: "I think it will take us not to have a slump like we did last year. I can't see any reason why we can't be in those automatic spots.

"We need a good start. We need to be a bit more disciplined, with yellow cards and red cards ... Quinny ... (he laughs). Joking aside we need a bit more discipline on the pitch and I think we'll be fine."
