Him and Maris in midfield are a solid pairing. Need a dynamic No.10 type now to complete the 3.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Our options in there are going to be very solid again.

Boateng, Maris, Lapslie, Clarke, Wallace, Quinn - you don’t get much stronger at this level.

I agree, there’s a few positions to fill yet with some quality but I would say that’s Centre mid done and it is looking great.

Maris was here when he was at Cambridge?

Are you answering my question with a question?

Maris came here in July 2020 and Boateng went to Cambridge in October 2020.
He says in his interview he knows Bowery, Clarke and O’Toole ( from his spells at MK, Brizzle and Northampton respectively)

Hey Stags,we had this lad on loan for 6 months in 2016 I think.Really silky touch and got quality all right. You will need some serious ‘legs’ alongside him though as he didn’t appear to have the ability or desire maybe to run about much! Get pace in around him and he could well prove to be an astute signing.

Says himself he's a box to box midfielder. Can see Maris sitting behind him and then Quinn, Lapslie, Clarke or Wallace.

I'll wait till I see him play a few games for us before getting excited.

Seeing a lot of comments saying he's good enough to play League 1 so that's a good sign.

Got me a little more excited for the season ahead. If we add quality like Hiram's to other positions we could have such a good team. I mean I think we have a good team already but these additions are going to push us further on

How did I know you would be the first one to have a slight downer on a universally welcomed signing...

Boateng on squad number 44:
"Ollie Clarke has got number 8 already. That's my favourite number. 4 and 4 makes 8 so that's the only real reason."

Wonder if that's also why Longstaff had it?
