new away shirt - on sale 24 June

Postby jonnym150281 » Tue Jun 14, 2022 7:01 am

well, we played in the new away shirt on the 2nd May against Salford and they still not on sale, We would make a killing if the shirt came out to coincide with fathers day, anyone know if the shirt release is imminent?

I went down to field mill on Friday and asked about what’s happening with shirts and they said they had sold out everything before Wembley and that more kits were on order but they had no idea of when that might be.

How can they sell out of something they haven’t even put on sale yet?

Going on a hunch here but I reckon they were on about the home shirt. Weren't that meant to be in use for 2 seasons - i.e. last season and this one? As they've sold out of the home one I'm guessing they're just waiting for a re-stock of that one but for the away shirt, there's not been any news on that as of yet..

Would be nice if we could get them available for when season tickets are released. Give season ticket holders a percentage off the new kit with their season ticket sale either in person if they buy that way or via a code to use on the clubs webshop. Maybe off the whole order.

It's an issue we have every year. Could be down to the contract we have with Surridge but seems a missed opportunity to me

Bit late then, with season tickets already on general sale.

I dropped in at the club shop earlier while passing, and asked about the away shirts. I was told to expect them early July, so a bit late for fathers day. I don't buy a new one each year, only if i like the shirt, but i do like the look of this one, so will hopefully get one then.

I nipped in when I renewed STs looking for an away shirt, none available but took a beach towel instead.

Looks good, but very poor quality for £22. I'd sooner have payed £30 for something a bit thicker than paper. When my milky ass gets sunburnt I needs something fluffy.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

The bloke that runs surridge says we've got to ask in the club shop if we want goalkeeper shirts

When do the squad numbers have to be finalised and submitted to the league?

I want to get my lad the new kit, but think he will want his shirt printing with his favourite player on the back.

Don't know how long I'm going to have to hold off buying one to make sure his favourite player doesn't change squad number for this season.

It's usually a couple of days before the first league game when they are announced

Not sure if still relevant but they used to let you buy a shirt and then take it back to have the shirt number(s) and name put on.

Hi Rob

My lad is the same but I'm buying the shirt then go back later for name and numbering

I believe mind's deal with the EFL has expired so the number name it might be changing and I could be wrong. It might be next season

I will do the same I think then. If previous seasons are followed, I think the font is changed ever so slightly too.
