Think NC will wait till the backend of the transfer window too many agents looking for sky high fees for average L4 players , becomes a buyers market in the last week of the window but Risk missing out to your Rivals for the better players .. We aren’t going to compete with the likes of Bradford , Stockport , Salford and to some degree even Crawley ..

Particularly unlikely when we know that two of the four signings are likely to be loanees form a premier league side

Not necessarily. If they're in high demand it could be the player and/or his agent delaying things.

It is, of course, preferable to have them all in on day 1. Sometimes though getting them in early can be a negative when a player becomes unexpectedly available and is better than what we already signed. Not always the case but can happen.

Also some players lower demands if they aren't fixed up for the new season. Sometimes it's just a waiting game.

Wait until the season starts and we still have around a month to still sign players in. No massive rush.
