Don't think there is any information on it. He is still a free agent

Looks very much like our management team are not going to bring any free agents in then, very risky strategy but it’s his call.

Why spend good money if he can’t get better than what he has got.
You can’t play more than 16 in any game and some days you only need 11 or 12 players.

We've conceded one goal from open play in the last 4 league games - do you think we aren't?

Only three teams in the whole EFL have conceded fewer shots per game than us. I think we look pretty solid and that’s without Oates , Boateng and Hartigan.

And even that one had a hint of offside about it.

We were very fortunate to not concede against Carlisle mind. They could have had 3 quite comfortably.
That said I think we’re starting to look stronger now with Hewitt, Hawkins, and Harbottle. With Perch and O’toole ready to come in if required then I think we have enough to see us through to Jan and then let’s see where we are at.
It didn’t go well when JJ and Perch came in against Grimsby but they had Bowery with them and if its one coming in to a stable back line when required then it’s easier for them to perform.

I think we are already a great side. We've only conceded 1 goal in 4 games. That's pretty good going.

Hawkins is one of the most commanding centre backs in the league, it’s on the floor he struggles at times.

Hawkins gets some v unfair criticism as does Wallace. We are doing fine and as someone said we can look again in Jan.

Wallace is a good squad player. Great cross from him on Saturday. Don't think he'll set the league on fire, but will do a good enough job for us when called upon.

confused when did i say anything about heading only, commanding is organising & dominating the back line as a leader not hoofin it

Again, he does those things. He’s just a bit clumsy and slow, but that’s why we’re playing the formation we are.

I'm genuinely getting to the point of wondering whether there's another Mansfield Town in a parallel universe that you actually watch, one without 5 centre backs, who haven't got 88 points in the last 44 games, where the manager has given some hint at all that he's looking at signing a commanding centre back to walk into the first team, that just happens to be out of contract.

We have a good combo at the moment. I like it
It seems to be working out putting Hawkins in the middle
With Harbottle and Hewitt you have players that are very comfortable playing the ball out from the back.
I’m hoping for no injuries to either 3 but you could say that about any part of a team.
Any team losing a winning section of players /defence/midfield/forward line to injury could cost them
Our injuries are midfield….our strongest area thankfully with cover.
It’s all ifs and buts. Out of anyones control but fate.
Would Perch or O’toole be ideal if called upon….not currently
But what I am saying is we don’t need any free agent. I am very happy to look at signings situation/injuries etc January window
That includes forwards - Are we scoring goals at the moment ….yes we are
When you think you know the answers, I change the questions
