I expect good things from him this time around and am looking forward to one or two posters having to eat their words.

Tin hat on but.... bump.

Jesus, he's had 2 decent games in 2 dozen and we suddenly have the new Ronaldo

Lets forget about the last eight years all in leagues higher

Edgar Davids was a fantastic player in his pomp, safe to say he was a bit crap by the time he ended up at Barnet.

You're only as good as your last game.

Lucas is brilliant then

Spot on, but doesn't even have to be a time issue, I'm sure Liverpool and Chelsea fans have totally different views on Fernando Torres.

Ask Scarborough fans about Stags legend Chris Greenacre.

We’ve had a couple of bids that have been derisory to say the least and we won’t be allowing him to leave for that. The owners have a value for him, he knows that, and we’ve spoken to him. When you sign a contract you have to stay until the owners say you can go or otherwise. We would like him to stay. We’ve offered him a new contract, we’ve offered him to be the highest-paid player at the club.”

Apparently Morecambe are owned by the same people as Worcester Warriors who are on the verge of going into administration.

Morecambe have now been put up for sale.

"Morecambe Football Club can confirm that the Clubs’ owners, Bond Group, are now preparing the Club for sale, part of which involves Jason Whittingham and Colin Goldring stepping back from their positions on the Board of Directors. Bond Group Investments Ltd will continue their support of the Board and the Club as the majority shareholder, until such a time as a new owner is found and can take the Club forwards."

I didn't realise it had gone as far as attempting to sign him, I just thought he was training with us.

I agree with a small squad we need fit players. Plenty of out of contract players, so we need to look elsewhere.

as I said when this rumour that he'd failed a medical came up on Friday, it's not true that he failed a medical.

Is it still the case that free agents are being considered? I read it somewhere on a Facebook link but can't remember what it was.

Yep Clough confirmed that the day after deadline day.

Despite the result on saturday we’re still short in defence and it needs addressing.

I hope one result means this hasn’t been put to bed as believe me if it’s not addressed it will catch up with us during the season.

This squad is strong enough. We would have to have several bad injuries and suspensions to panic the manager.Pretty sure he would bring in a couple of free agents if necessary. There is the January window if needed.Don't worry we will be fine.

Two open play clean sheet with his preferred defender in the middle of the three.

He’s still not talking about signing a defender so it doesn’t seem likely.

Still nobody, I get that they take time to get match fit, but if we had signed a free a few days after the disappointment of transfer deadline day, they’d have at least been on the bench for Carlisle I’d imagine. How many points will be lost because Cloughs stubbornness to keep a small squad of favourites. We have money and a need for players….

Can't find any info about Theo Robinson signing for another club.

Anyone else have information?
