My money is on it being 21 out of 25 come this time next year.

Whenever the signings are announced.

That is an amazing stat.

It really is, I've often wondered why he hasn't consistently managed at the highest level, is it geographical, ie he wants this area alone?

I’d assume they’ll both be announced next week when we’re back from Scotland and they’re back from Spain.
That seems daft. If they are coming here, surely they would be better in Scotland rather than Spain.

It’s the price of fuel Yorkie JR keeping his chopper grounded this summer.

the day JR starts worrying about fuel prices is the day we need to be concerned youth, have to say if it is the two Florest young-uns coming in, seems a bit bizarre they haven’t gone team bonding in jock land

I don’t relish another season with Hawkins in defence
He is a liability playing wise’ slow poor distribution only good in the air mostly and seemed to get off very lightly for being a total muppet at Wembley along with his previous silly sending off with O Toole

He was only sent off once and that was at Wembley

Regarding Harbottle going to Spain with Forest.....Wasn't Bishop's arrival delayed last season cos he went abroad with Man Utd ??

The Walker us and Lincoln had would be fantastic. The version that was on loan at Pompey last season is probably best avoided. Reports that he was incomprehensibly bad.

Seems like Will Swan played for Forests youth team in a friendly vs Northampton the other day, and hasn’t travelled to Spain with the first team. Seems a bit strange to me that if he was joining us that he wouldn’t be going to Scotland. You’d think it would be beneficial for all for him to be with the team as early as possible?

Noticed from the clips of training the other day, he seemed to be playing as a striker in the training match because there was a clip of him scoring quite a composed finish.
I'd sooner see him in his preferred position too, I think he is a liability at the back when we are up against pace.

Are we after Walker, we don't know, what has been wrong with him during his Coventry and Portsmouth days, we don't know that either. Let's hope he sorts himself out either at Coventry or elsewhere.

On another point, everyone seems convinced we are taking two loan players from Forest just because they are the local Premiership team. The same folks accept it is Harbottle and Swan but their names have never been discussed by the club.

Seems a bit daft, just my opinion.

Swan is rumoured because someone posted his name before the comments about loans from a PL club were mentioned.

I don’t think we’ll be in for Walker anyway, or any number nine type striker, if Cloughs comments are to be believed.

We should be pushing for Dale Taylor striker from Forest… just signed a new deal, would score for fun in L2…
I suspect he’ll be trying to break into 1st team though

I’d stay well clear

His attitude at Portsmouth has been heavily criticised… appeared disinterested.

I think he needs to have a long hard look at himself. Would I take him - probably but it would be a risk in my view. And probably an expensive one

I think Hawkins up top with Oates in a 4-4-2 diamond is appealing. He was great up front early in the season before we needed him at the back and was our best performing player at the time. I know he’s not someone who’s gonna be the most effective presser but I think his hold up ability and aerial ability compliments Oates’ pace really well.

Of course, as it stands, we’ll need him at the back a lot still next season, particularly if the opposition have a target man up top. I definitely prefer him as a forward option in most cases though.
