I hope we don't end up in the playoffs again looking at those dates. Nearly a three week gap between the season ending and the finals, so I assume they won't exactly space out both legs of the semis.

That's exactly as we have just had. Three weeks from the last day of the regular season to the playoff final

I know, it never does us any good. I always find when we have too much time off, rather than look well rested, we always seen to look completely off the pace.

I wonder if there's stats that show our results after we've had a sustained period of rest?
It might not back up that idea, it just always seems to me we appear sharper when we play more regularly.

Games with more than 7 day break
21/22
Played 3 W1 L2
One of the losses was the FA Cup game against Boro where we played very well.

20/21
Played 3 W1 L1 D1

Just had a thought looking at the dates - might be a bit of a fixture pile-up if anyone in the 2nd round of the FA Cup has enough players at the World Cup to get a postponement.
