Re: Wembley tickets to go on sale from 1pm, Friday 20th May

Honest question, are tickets available on the day as there will be plenty of seats available? Would have thought Wembley would welcome every penny.

We've sold more than 5 of those games between us already (14,000 each so far).

I’ve seen that apparently it was 12k for the FA Vase, and then 34k for the Trophy and for some reason they combined the two. Not sure if that’s true or not.

Yes pretty sure that's how it works the ticket is for non-league finals day. I watched the first game, the Vase, won by an M1 Service Station

Because 1 ticket gets you into both matches doesn't it?

indeed. They do a neutral zone for people who want to go and see both matches.

I went to the 1st Vase final at the new Wembley in 2007 and had to buy a ticket from one of the competing clubs

Are we looking at around the 17-18,000 figure? That would be decent. Or, do we think nearer 20k?

I think a fair amount of people will think ah go on then around Thursday Friday, I think vale and stags will have similar numbers and total attendance will be around 40k

20k would be an outstanding effort.

Port Vale sold 15,462 so far. Looking like we’ll both get 20k at this rate, not bad going at all.

It's good the numbers are fairly evenly matched. No disrespect to Wycombe ( even though I hate them) but that 75/25 % split of the crowd Saturday looked bad on TV. Although obviously Sunderland have huge support compared to most teams at that level.

Same with the forest fans. Plus with it getting nearer to pay weekend too, I wouldn't be surprised with a small surge in sales.

With the weather forecast being 20 degrees on Saturdaym, should be a belting weekend

A Huddersfield fan at work has just mentioned that Huddersfield egg chasers are in the Challenge Cup Final on Saturday, being played at Spurs. So he says that there's around 10,000 of them going down for that, with most of them staying over for the football. North London is going to be busy.

Forest have officially sold out so might get a few hundred of their part time fans come to our game instead.

Challenge Cup normally sells out at Wembley although it has been moved from later in the season. I know a group of 20 going down from Leeds ( Rhinos) and plenty of Bradford Bulls fans too. A proper occasion with a mixture of supporters, allowed alcohol in you seats and no trouble.
