Wembley - Singing Blocks (blocks 111/112)

Postby BH_Stag » Thu May 19, 2022 8:36 am

Now we’re officially on our way to Wembley, it would be great if the club could organise to have a few proper singing blocks.

Wycombe did it simply by saying 2 of the blocks behind the goal will be for that so buy tickets there if that’s what you want, just like they have with the family sections.

It’s a huge allocation and there will be thousands of fans that don’t regularly attend. If all our regulars are spread out around the ground it’s difficult to get it going, and would ultimately lead to people not sitting in their seat as they will want to create a group and stand elsewhere.

It’s likely that we will be outnumbered at Wembley, so anything to help get behind the team will be to our advantage!

100% agree. We need the drummer and as many Q block/R block regulars + fans who want to stand and sing all game to be in the same blocks together.

There will be a designated singing area. Decided by Wembley I think, same for all play off games

How many will we take?
10000?

May make 15k at a push.

We'll take more than we did in the FA Trophy when most of the town and some fans were largely apathetic about its football club. Since then the links the club has made into the wider community will ensure we will get a great response this time around. It's for all to enjoy so let's pack out Wembley!

We’ll hopefully be pushing 20k. Normally we’d have some Forest fans support as well but probably not with them there the next day.

You would hope so but with cost of tickets and travel going up exponentially since last time coupled with the cost of living crisis we are stuck in and floating Forest fans likely to go to their game only I would guess we will take between 8k and 12k. Hope to be proved wrong.

I was hoping for 25k, if we can get 6k for a home game, then for a special occasion like this, surely x3 or x4 as all the rellies come and those once a Wembley trip fans?
This is a promotion party and you have to be there!

I think there may well be quite a few doing the full weekend with an overnight stop. Shouldn’t be a problem getting tickets for our game but Forest’s May be a bit tighter. I would imagine Saturday could be quite an entertaining night in the pubs if things are organised correctly.

I've had loads of Forest mates telling me they want to go to both games.

Think we'll hit about 20k.

I've looked for Forest tickets, only on sale to season ticket and club members, they have 36k which they will sell easily so can't see me getting one.

There'll be loads of Forest fans with us, can see us selling 18,756.

I know folk who are Forest fans who aren't optimistic about getting a ticket for their game.

Sunderland have sold out 44 000 for this weekend and are getting a few more, which Wycombe agreed to as they're worried about having Mackems in their end.

So does anyone know the exact amount of stags at Cardiff ( 2004 ) and Wembley ( 2011 ).

Would love 20k but think 15/16K is about right.

Wembley could only happen in one life time, Last 4 in F-A cup, League cup, and Play Off finals.
A day when you can support your Favourite team, win or lose a memorable day you will always remember.
A fans dream, your team playing at the home of English Football.
