Not one mention or match report from our game on Saturday in the Sun newspaper either in Sundays or Mondays football pages
There was a big piece about Bowery before the game but no match report at all
They covered Swindon
Stockport
Wrexham
Womens Cup final
Even the lower leagues in Scotlands play offs
Before you start saying what do you expect it’s the Sun I think it’s very poor at best to not have even a
Small mention

They're still writing a cracking story about us, it's about a team not being ready for promotion but going for it anyways

Decent write up in the guardian.
Bbc report was more in-depth than usual.

Trouble is the premiership dominates everything... the F.A Cup is just becoming a normal premiership game ..at least when Quest had the EFL it gave all the lower league clubs a bit of limelight...but thats gone now.its time they shared it out
But thats never going to happen is it ... and who reads newspaper these days !!?

You must have bought an early edition printed before the game was finished.

It's gone to ITV. I wouldn't be surprised if it is still produced by IMG though, in which case it may not be so massively different

I don't know why anyone would buy a paper these days, especially tabloids that are full of lies and nonsense, none more so than the Sun, which it appears is Sedgwicks choice of reading
Even the NLP is available online and is more up to date than the paper version. Save the trees

I only buy the Chad to make sure I am not in the obituaries.

People slagging The Sun off need to remember it's the only national newspaper that covers League One and League Two in depth. By that I mean it has a match report on every match and also photos from a lot too. All the other newspapers have a couple of paragraphs/lines on specific teams. So as bad as it may be at least it looks after lower league football.

Doesn't really matter, 99% of people don't need to rely on a paper to read a league one/two match report. People shouldn't buy it full stop.
