Well that fine he has coming will definitely make up for him scoring the equaliser which has possibly cost us automatic promotion !!

I'd assume so, he gave Murphy a slap on the back of the head too i think but that wouldn't have warranted a red I don't think.

Joke. That Stocksbridge has been raspberry for years aswell, there might be a few good refs in this country but my god there's a list of the terrible ones longer one of Sweden Stags match previews

Oh good, so for retrospective violent conduct he'll end up being suspended for a dead rubber, a first game of the season and a first round cup game instead of being sent off with 70 minutes left of a game their opponents needed to win, and in which he subsequently scored an equalising goal. That helps.

He was awful and got pretty much every big decision wrong except giving us the blatant penalty. The off the ball stamp was a clear red and given where it was it is impossible to believe none of the 4 officials saw it.

We saw last night how the standard of refereeing isn't just woeful at this level. I'm all for letting minor contact go but a scissor tackle from behind and a shirt pull from the neck to prevent a counter attack, just shocking.

After the Carlisle debacle, this just add insult to injury.

we have to hope we can use this injustice to galvanize us through the playoffs.

It wasn't a "challenge", it was off the ball and the scraping of your studs down the achilles of your opponent intentionally is violent conduct.

Gary Neville is the joke. What an idiot! That was not a challenge, it was an off the ball stamp that could have done the lad serious injury

Not only are Neville’s comments ridiculous, it is also unbelievable that the FA are claiming that the referee did not see the incident. He was stood five yards away looking straight at it.

Unless Gary means it's a joke it wasn't spotted and that there's too many dirty fouls like that in league 2 that go unpunished?

or it's a joke that they get retrospective action when many other challenges go unpunished.

We saw it from 70 yards away, but none of the four officials saw it?
