Messi hasn't spent the majority of his career in the lower tiers of English football where players are often expected to play with injuries and a couple of pain killers.

Doncaster Rovers have loaned out 18 year old centre half Bobby Faulkner to big spending Worksop Town who are the league leaders in the NPL East (Step 4). He has made 5(5) league apps in League 2 this season including playing against the Stags so that's a bit of a drop for him.

Oldham Athletic have signed striker Joe Nuttall (25) on a contract until 2025 from Scunthorpe United for an undisclosed fee. He scored 11 goals in 33(3) league apps for Scunny.

Yeovil Town have signed Grimsby Town winger Jordan Maguire-Drew (25) on a month's loan with a view to a permanent deal in January. He has scored 6 goals in 14(9) apps for Grimsby.

He's not kicked on in the Championship, no - but how many of our current players would? We need our players to get us out of League 2 - he scored a few when he was in League 2 and was in the League team of the year.

Since his loan spell with Lincoln he’s really not had much success. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lincoln were to make a move for him.

I’d love to see him back here and at league two level you won’t get much better and picking two from three of Walker, Swan and Oates would surely strengthen our promotion push. I personally think Swan has the potential to go on and be more successful than Walker, there is something Greenacresque about him.

I agree about Swan and would much rather sign him permanently than Walker. I don’t suppose he will get anywhere near the Forest first team so it could be possible. A smaller fee with a sell on clause would do nicely and may also suit Forest.
