Sutton United have signed defender Aaron Pierre (29) who was released by Shrewsbury Town.

Sutton manager Matt Gray said: "After the unfortunate injury to Ben Goodliffe this was an area where I felt I needed to strengthen and add competition. Aaron's a great age and highly experienced, and a real leader, and he's an excellent addition for the squad."

Barnsley have signed winger Josh Martin (20) on loan from Norwich City for the rest of the season. He impressed on loan at Doncaster Rovers last season. He made 18(2) league apps for Donny and scored 4 goals.

Sutton United have signed Lincoln City striker Charley Kendall (21) on loan. He scored 24 goals for Eastbourne Borough in National League South last season. Lincoln signed him in January and loaned him straight back to Eastbourne. He had previously backed himself by rejecting a new contract at QPR and going to play for Eastbourne instead of playing for QPR U23s.

"He was a very good League 1 centre back when we first signed him a few seasons ago and even won player of the season. However, he came back from a lengthy spell out from injury at the start of last season and he just wasn’t the same. His good days are past him and his attitude isn’t the best. He returned back to the squad very overweight and unfit and carried a very ‘I’m not bothered’ attitude in terms of shifting the weight. Obviously he’s had no pre season so I dread to think what his weight looks like now. I’d stay clear if I was you as there’s not a chance he’ll last more than 15-20 games.

He was also decent at Wycombe but headbutted a fan in a car park as well which I think helped his exit there."

Isaac Oloafe reminded me of the other Millwall loan player Tyler Burey who scored 3 goals in 5 games for Hartlepool last season before he was injured. He was lightning quick. It looks like he's been starting and coming on as a sub for Millwall.
