Talksport. I got fed up of Andy Jacobs, other than knowing a bit about Chelsea, knew very little about anything outside the Premier.
And the adverts, every 5 minutes, !! No thanks, worse than 103.2. The 2 lads who came on with Colin Murray, on Quest, EFL, now they knew their lower league stuff

And here’s me thinking Chelsea were in the Premiership :D :D

I don’t listen to this so presume he is a bit of a Chelsea fan?

Same with Jason Cundy (could swap the d for a t). My cat knows more about football than him and is another wind up bell

Will probably just record it and skip through it. Actually liked listening to the analysis for once one quest as they actually knew about the teams down here.

They’ve pretty much said they’re going to keep it as close to the Quest show as possible. Wise choice.

Agreed the only thing I found fault with was the God awful music they’ve got. Change that and it’s a winner.

Glad someone else thought the music was raspberry. I had to mute it, appalling stuff.

It's strange because when the EFL ON QUEST started they too had crap music and ended up changing it because of the outcry. Here's hoping! :D

That first episode on quest was so cringey with the live audience

Just caught up with the programme. I thought it was good.

It is produced by IMG, who produced the programme for Quest, so no surprise that the format is very similar.

Incidentally IMG also produce the iFollow coverage for EFL, and everything is done from Stockley Park (in the same building as the VAR referees).

Watched it this morning off record.

Format very much the same as Quest but without the enthusiasm Colin Murray used to put ibto it. Thought the ITV presenter was just goung through the motions without really being interested, could have been presenting Bake Off.

Agree Colin’s personality is the thing missing.

I know what you mean, it seemed as if he was reading points off a sheet of paper thinking "right I've covered that bit now"

Shambles of a second episode, our highlights froze with no comms, didn’t even see the goal.

Bland rubbish.

Edit : they eventually show the highlights later on. It’s still bland rubbish though

It’s nice to see the highlights but the punditry was very weak. Seemed to only involve the main presenter continually asking the bloke - so how do you think X team will do this season. That was OK for the first two or three games but got a bit tedious.
From memory our game also missed out the main chance for Tranmere at the end but maybe I am misremembering.

Has anybody noticed on The EFL show recently, Mansfield seem to get snubbed

Presenter tonight’s comment in game - “County were dominant and by far the more creative”

“ Yes things are going in the right direction under Graham Coughlan unbeaten in two and Yet to concede under the new Boss”

Sam Parkin didn’t even see us worthy of a reply comment and she swiftly moved on.

Another annoying point is the dominant air time the Championship get. Sadly was the same on quest though too. They feature only Championship games. Why not feature some div1/2 games and swap it about. It’s called the EFL show, not Championship and also played show.

It’s a shame ITV couldn’t have had an hour show featuring the Championship and Quest ran a 1st/2nd Division show with Colin Murray back

Colin Murray was brilliant, and seemed to like the Stags which was an added bonus. He was obviously a football fan with his enthusiasm and genuine interest in the battles for promotion, and relegation avoidance
When you think you know the answers, I change the questions
