JJ on being out of work and almost fighting with Stags fans

JJ gave his first big interview this week after signing a deal and spoke candidly about how tough it was being out of work with no one interested in him, wondering if his career was over. He also spoke why, aged 33 with a family, he took the Stags deal and not more money offered elsewhere.

JJ also remembered a certain 'John-Joe O'Toole Day' at the One Call when the red mist came down and says he can remember a confrontation with some Stags fans in the car park afterwards where he wanted to 'rip their heads off' - now he loves the Stags fans (a love that's being reciprocated) and believes they can get the club over the promotion line with their backing.
