I went to watch Tyrese last night against Northampton Town and he had a very good game and was a contender for Scunthorpe's MOM along with Ryan Delaney at centre half and Ross Millen at right back. He was chosen by the Scunthorpe media team for the post match interview. He's currently 4th in the MOM voting on twitter. Some Scunthorpe fans at the end said it was a better performance by them but nobody really stood out apart from Tyrese.

Tyrese played on the left. He had a good 1st half and had a good chance to score early on but his shot was straight at the keeper. He had a good dribble down the pitch but then went for the glory ball instead of the simple pass. He also had a header saved under the bar. He's took all the set pieces. He gave possession away too easily at times and lost out on a few 50/50s but he did close down well and make some good blocks.

He also had a good 2nd half including a spectacular overhead clearance in his own area copying Danny Rose who had done the same thing in the 1st half. He was subbed on 87 minutes and made to leave the pitch on the far side and received a good round of applause from three sides of the pitch as he walked back to the dug out. He seemed to know the Northampton manager Jon Brady as he had a chat with him after the game or he was being tapped up.

Saw him get sent off at Orient with a petulant kick out at one of their players. He is a talented player but needs to be stronger mentally. He wouldn't get in our squad now so a loan move will be good for him.He may well prove to be a good league player only time will tell.
