Ben Bradley has been to more games this season than Bellwhiff to be fair

You're all missing the point.

The level of exposure this club receives is tiny, even BBC Nottingham barely gives us a nod.

We need to change that.

I agree. Let’s send Gibbo on a tour of Kebab houses across the county, berating students as he goes.

If you’re doing well people talk about you.

There was plenty off exposure last year when we had the five wins in a row, even one of our players being talked about on Sky Sports in a special segment.

There’s been a few twitter posts from general football accounts this week highlighting our good form which will be seen all over the country.

Ben Bradley and Lee Anderson are 2 MPs and big Stags fans why aren't we utilising that?

We really do not need Lee Anderson associated with our club.

Ben isn't far behind

Politics should be kept out of our football, especially ours given its history.

I’d want the local MP supporting the club no matter what their politics.

Exactly.

I'm not asking for their opinions on the poll tax.

Just a retweet, name drop in Parliament, maybe a photo op, bring other MPs to a game in London.

I know the sneering scorn for Anderson amongst the left leaning posters but he’s the only one I can think of who got told off for wearing a football scarf in a debate. And it was ours.

If our local MPs were any good I'd agree. The local MP should support the club closest to the town they represent.

However.

Anderson is an ignorant racist (insert expletive here) you don't have to be a leftie to see that. He'd bring the club into disrepute.

Bradley is a Forest fan who lives in Newark, he couldn't give a toss about Stags unless there is something in it for him. Bradley has name dropped Mansfield in parliament, it just usually brings the entire town into disrepute.

And whatabout Meale in 5 4 3 2 .........

Sounds like a dodgy chap

But if he had a social media following I wouldn't be against it!

Fair enough. My point stands, if we want this club to grow we need to increase it's exposure.

As others have said, I don’t think exposure should come from MPs. Right or left, most people don’t want to listen to a word they’ve got to say right now.

The best way is through schools. When I was in primary school we had players like Rhys Day and Buxton coming in to do assemblies and giving out a few free tickets. Once kids catch the bug, they be at their mum/dad every weekend wanting to go.

Schools is one way.

AHH that Lee Anderson that 'boycotted' watching England's best world cup run in bloody ages because they were taking the knee. And I thought lefties were supposed to be the snowflakes ;)

Irony is I plan to boycott Qatar 2022 in light of the obvious corruption and human rights abuses.

https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/foo ... 91535.html

Looks like I'm in good company.

Wonder if those players so concerned about people's rights will follow suit.

I'm sure taking the knee in a stadium built on the sacrifices of slave labour will come as warm consolation for those workers still trapped in Qatar earning <$10 a day with no possibility of returning home.

Although this has taken a side track now.

Either way.

Exposure = Good. (for the football club, not for you!)

I set this account up years ago and have lurked mostly.

I went to the match vs Hartlepool and Boro and was slated to go to Harrogate, got a password reset and enjoying the chat now!

Honestly find this very odd.

1) because it isn't true and I can't work out where its come from
2) it derails every discussion

Again ask the admins for my IP or email. Really not difficult.

Or ask the guy who just bought the Harrogate tickets off me.
