Clarke is our captain and is going nowhere. I don’t get people’s obsession with Brayford, plus our team is old enough as it is!

No obsession here, just a feeling. I hope clarke is going nowhere

As long as Man U aren’t selling Bishop to another club, I’m not too bothered who else goes as I feel we’ve got most positions covered. I don’t want anyone out but feel Bishop is probably the only player who would derail our season by himself.

I think it is too late to recall Bishop.

As for the possibility of a shock departure, I wouldn't be surprised?

Do we need another midfielder or is someone leaving?

Interesting, played a lot of football for Fleetwood this season. Seems versatile in midfield, tranfermarkt has him down as playing games in various positions in there this season.

Hope this is just a replacement for Charsley and doesn’t mean we have a midfielder going out.

I hope so too, Clough did say last week that if a player goes he would need to be replaced, We didnt really have a CM to bring on the other day, Lapslie season has been a bit stop and start to say the least.

Biggins did well at Barrow last season.

If we sign another CM that means O'Toole is likely a full time CB I would imagine.

Could add fuel to the Lapslie fire this, still don’t think he’ll leave mind. Looks like Biggins is having a good season so weird that he was going to drop a level to sign for Hartlepool.

Just noticed he got a goal and an assist for Barrow last season in their 4-2 win over us.

Aikins and Wallace are Charsley's replacements. They cover his two positions.

Akins I agree. Wallace has been brought in to provide cover in defence, mainly at left back in my opinion though granted, he can play in midfield if required.

We’ll know by 11pm!

The East Anglian Times have reported this morning that we’re one of a few teams in for Jon Nolan, a centre midfielder who’s just had his contact terminated by Ipswich. (Not sure how to link it)

He said in his interview he was a midfielder who can cover left back

Wallace is quite versatile.

It's clear Clough likes players who can play in multiple positions.

Wallace or Akins do not provide cover for RCM, where Charsley was at his best.

Wallace is a left sided player, left back, left mid, left sided central defence at a push.
