These are the best team in league 2 by far, its really come together for them, Nicky Cadden is a quality player at this level.
I wonder if we will match them up with 5 at the backs with wing backs. We didn't expect Salford to play 5 at the back and we struggled for the first 20.

We need our best players fit for this game, would hope to see Ollie Clarke and O'Toole. Will we have a situation where O'Toole may not want to risk injury and prevent him getting a contract in Jan.

Id take a draw.

I’d go with two banks of four. Try and cut off the supply from wide areas.

Initially I was happy for this one to be a free hit, but as we're now just about knocking on the play off door it'd be great to get within 1-2 points of them before Xmas and really set things up for Hartlepool on Boxing Day.

Like others have said, FGR normally start their yearly implosion about this time of year, so who knows. Will settle for the point and a brave performance.

another Rob Edwards interview: https://stroudtimes.com/zoom-talk-rob-e ... on-threat/

No Covid cases, and no other injuries apart from long term ones, which means Jordan Moore-Taylor is fit (he went off ill last week). He's a key player for them in the back three.

I think if Nigel thought O'Toole was doing that he would show him the door.

Someone on FB Followers says he has been at the ground to pick his ticket up and apparently tomorrow's game is off.

match postponed

"Forest Green have informed the EFL that they would be unable to fulfil the fixture at The Fully Charged New Lawn due to a number of positive COVID-19 cases in the squad."

Although I hate a spring full of Tuesday games, this is good timing for the squad

Annoying.

Quick change around from their gaffers press conference! No covid or injuries and now can’t find 14 players….

It would be interesting (and I suspect that Tippy Tappy Football or MTFC Musings are already working on it) to see a list of clubs on a poor run of form, with injury issues, a run of tough games etc who have got cover!!! I see Donny have covid

FGR are on a great run of form though, i’m sure they’d have wanted to play…

I can’t see boxing day happening

Sake. But I suppose it would be easier to play this when the hysteria has died down a bit

Not sure about injured etc. But in terms of form

Champ : 5 of the 6 worst form teams games are still on, but two are playing each other so may see it as a good chance for three points. Swansea are the team not playing but QPR instigated the postponement.

L1 : 4 of the 6 worst form teams games are still on. Gillingham out of form, small squad, Steve Evans in charge, asked to be postponed. Lincoln are the other, but Doncaster asked to be postponed.

L2 : 3 of 6 still playing. Hartlepool worst form team in the league, asked to be postponed. Then Oldham, but Crawley asked for postponement. Barrow the other, but again Northampton asked for postponement.

So there does not seem to be any correlation in out of form teams looking for postponements.
