Does that go for away fans too?

Great initiative.

if we win this - even with JJ O'T on board I'll be absolutely tootled - if it's a disappointing result I'm trusting it will be our last disappointing result of the season - onwards and upwards COYS

reminder:
Subject: FGR-Covid pass needed for main stand, but not for away stand

Martin Shaw wrote:so, if you're going in the away sections at FGR, you will not need a Covid pass.

If you're going in the main stand or the green man, you will.
There is a video at the top of the page here on how to get a Covid pass if you don't know: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/uk-59664383

Go out there play our game and see what happens, no pressure.

I do still find it hilarious we’re actually in the playoffs and should enjoy it while it lasts.

we’ve won 2 out of the last 3 away games and 4 out of the last 5 away in general so let’s go for it

I think our amazing run will come to an end tonight in a hard fought match, but the last time we lost a league game we won the next 6, so I'd take that again. :)

7 degrees by lunchtime, 5 degrees at the end of the game. No rain.
I wouldn't have thought there would be a pitch inspection.

I think that's the important thing.

We can afford to drop points here and there, but we just can't go on another bad run

As long as we give a good account of ourselves tonight and come away with no injuries I'll be pleased.

A midweek game, away to the runaway leaders is always going to be an tough ask.

Of course if we win, we're definitely going up

Thanks, I'm a good few miles away in Worcestershire and all ground near me is solid. Fingers crossed!

Bishop gets sent off in the first minute and we concede the resulting penalty.
3 down at halftime when O' Toole goes down holding his knee and ends up out for 9 months with a snapped ACL.
He never really plays for us again. It's the Stags way !! Lol

Seriously though, would be pleased with a scrappy draw.

It’s simple. We go there and play like we have and win. They’re not in any shape or form an amazing side. We will do it.

quick scan of their forum suggests the vast majority think it will be a close game with a goal in it either way, a higher portion going for a home win naturally.

They mention their squad isn't deep and that Edwards probably won't rotate players so might be leggy. Press high and hard, disrupt their free flowing forward play and I think we can edge this one and they'll be worried. A few draws recently, too
Biggest test of our defence, for sure.

Edwards comes across as a decent bloke too

We don't rotate either.

Bishop
Hewitt
O'Toole
Hawkins
Macca
Clarke
Maris
Quinn
Bowery
Oates

I'd imagine that will be 10/11. Unless Cloughie decides to throw something different into the mix.

Yup, and we have had a terrific run of form because of it. FGR have started to pick up some draws just recently because of it (according to their forum)

I think we will just edge it, 0 - 2 or 1 - 2

- FGR are starting to struggle due to lack of rotation (haven't lost in league since October)
- We're absolutely fine not rotating our squad, have you seen our form!

Sensing double standards.

I’d be surprised if Charsley doesn’t start in place of Clarke. Then again he might drop a midfielder and go for the 4-3-3.

Charsley probably deserves it and he runs around a lot which is good, but Clarke is a battler and will go to try and smash them so want him in
