They posted a private jet photo on Insta yesterday. Could be John flying across, or they did it over the weekend.

Or… it could have been an old photo they just wanted to share… I could post a photo of me in Monaco now but I’m in Bulwell, not the same is it. :-(

Haha yeah thats a good point. It was a nice family photo too so probably reading too much into it. And also, it would cost a fortune for the Radfords to fly private every time we signed a player

Does John even need to be here? Surely Sharpe is in charge of sorting signings out

Very refreshing tbh.

It's a policy that will leave fans frustrated as we will miss out on targets, but bigger picture is the sustainability.

It makes it a little more exciting for me. The whole "will he won't he" instead of "we'll chuck cash at him and he'll stay"

I much porefer how the club is being run now compared to a few years ago. Exciting stuff!

Yeah I agree to an extent. However The policy can't restrict progress. It's blanket application shouldn't diminish our chances at promotion. Over 30s aren't on the scrap heap. Similarly, what do you do about a 29 year old? Just because there's no resale value does that matter if it gets us promoted? It should be done on a case by case basis, which is has been on this basis if JJ signs on again.

I think that there is a clear strategy with intelligent background work done before signing and so I think the club works on a rule of thumb of 'this is our general strategy'. Where I think they will have a blanket application is over wage demands and therefore there will be limits they are prepared to pay

PEAR the frustration would be throwing money at it only for the player to underperform. I’m fed up with that scenario tbh and hope we stick to a clear strategy that players buy into!!!

Forrester likely to stay until the end of the season also

just to clarify he was already under contract until Saturday so he could play tomorrow anyway.

Yeah I know. I'm 35, But reckon I could still do a job if Nigel does make the call, so haven't given up the dream just yet. ;)

I could be a box to box midfielder.

As long as that box was KFC.

If I ran from one box to the next it would be a 7ft wooden box I'd need :D
