Gary McSheffrey's Post Match Interview

"2nd half - they make the change and for 15 minutes we did not have an answer."

"Little Quinn, clever player, was doing the third man running. He's got a bit of nous and the timing of his runs make it look like he's quicker than us and he's probably only 2 years younger than me."

"They looked so much more energetic in the 2nd half when attacking. We got pinned back."

Branden Horton Post Match Interview - "I don't think we coped with how fast they played"

The last time I saw Branden was when he was playing for Askern U12s in the Doncaster Junior League Cup Final and he stormed off the pitch at the end after we had beat them on penalties and started abusing our parents  He was the top striker in the league but has ended up as a decent left back. He scored his first goal today.

They didn't have an answer for 35 minutes, not 15, we mullered them, they barely had a kick.

It's always nicer after a win but what a genuinely lovely interview that is. You can tell he's absolutely buzzing, the smile never leaves his face. Delighted for him and hope he has a big role to play going forward.

God I love Saturdays nights/ Sunday mornings when we've won. I mentioned last week that I'm happy with the occasional big win and memories being created. Well after Sunderland (twice) this is another one that's going on my list of happy days.
