Been dragged Christmas shopping by Mrs Spartacus. The whole of Primark stopped and stared as I yelled, ‘Get in’. God bless goal alerts.

Come on Mansfield!!!

Put Hawkins up front and he'll score. Footballs not all that complicated really, is it?

Oates shoots from 25 yards, hits a defender ball falls to Lapslie who shoots at the keeper on the turn.

Attack again oates doesn't quite control it but wins a corner.

Stirk to take the corner. Keeper tips it away and Quinn gets to the ball and heading backwards and draws a foul, well it looked a clear foul.

Stirk pinging some right balls around. That looks a perfect ball for Quinn but it goes out for a goal kick.

This is complete control by us. Weve had all the ball and created loads of chances

We are looking really impressive today, calm, composed, methodical, mostly smart. I'm really enjoying myself with this one

I rate Stirk.

Stags attack Hawkins flicks a long ball on to Macca, who is onside. Had he not been offside it would have been a certain goal.

Hewitt curls a cross in towards Quinn but Quinn barges the defender. How Quinn isn't booked yet I have no idea (and I'm grateful)

Good play from Oates out runs the defender. Cuts back from the byline. Tries to find Hewitt who was advancing in the box and its cleared.

I worry that we've put so much in first half that we'll run out of steam.

The two up front have made a massive difference. Hawkins physical presence and Oates pace.

Forrester having a good game. For someone who looks 5ft8 he seems to be winning alot of headers.

HT 1-0

Fully deserved lead. Dominated them from start to finish. 14th as it stands. 9 points off play offs and 7 points off relegation zone.

Listening on 103. A shout out for Craig Priest. Managed 45 minutes without a cliche and described the action making me feel like I was there.

9 points off the playoffs. We’re looking very good though. Carlisle and Salford two very winnable games as well.

Stirk has to be the key player so far. I don't know how he's getting those passes so accurate with the wind blowing it about.

I'm sure someone will be along to tell you the wind is making his passes look good.
