Something has got to be changed here

We have nothing up front. They seem to be first to everything and closing is down really quickly

Through 40 mins we’re not at it. I’d have taken a point before hand and would definitely take it now!

On the plus side most games featuring the strugglers are going our way.

Hawkins wona header and their lad just flops to the ground. They're desperate to get him sent off.

I would change the formation slightly and go with Hawkins and Lapslie up top second half. Lapslie not a striker I know but he will press and play off Hawkins. At the moment it’s awful going forward, we will not score going on like that again!

Pretty abysmal that. Sutton are quick out wide and get plenty of high balls into the box which we can't deal with. The midfield can't string two passes together against Alister Smith. Bowery had no service but we really miss Oates ability to run in behind their defence. Still not having Hewitt as a professional footballer. Evert Sutton attack starts with him giving the ball away. If we are getting back into this the midfield need to start keeping th ball. May be time for Hawkins up top.

Frustrating. Other than the first five minutes we have been the better of two poor sides.

Bowery looks devoid of confidence again. He just isn’t a goal threat at all.

For a big lad you would think he would be a real handful, unfortunately he is a bit of a softy

I would put Hawkins up front with AN other

Agreed or I would probably go Sinclair next to Hawkins he’s good at drawing fouls
We should just go direct ugly match them and try and get at least a point, not a night for pretty football

Horrible scrappy game with the ball spending a lot of time up in the air. The Stags were bullied in the first 15 minutes and it looked for a while we could be in for a long evening. We then failed to take advantage of our few chances. Hawkins should have scored from the corner and someone needs to tell Jordan Bowery where the goal is. Ryan Stirk, Ollie Clarke and Harry Charsley are struggling to get into the game. Clarke is giving the ball away too much. Oli Hawkins is at risk of picking up a second yellow card and being sent off. It may be better to play Sutton at their own game and chuck Hawkins up front with Bowery and just pump long balls and long throws into the area.
