If the result somehow begins with Exeter 0 I'll be delighted.

I'd love if if they out played us and we were totally backs to the wall but nicked a 1-0 win.

Driving down to this one and would still settle for a dull as dishwater 0-0.

Exeter are a standard League 2 squad sitting 7th in league 2, with a average attendance of 4-888 with a ground capacity of 8-696.
We still have to many players injured, Forrester, Nartey, Gordon, from our defence.
Exeter W 1, D 4, L 0, Mansfield W 0, D 3,, L, 2, so on paper a home win.
O-K they have home advantage, and we are still looking for a settled side and our defence is still not a settled unit, will take a point

Absolutely crackers!

Hope they give you a better performance than at Northampton/walsall.

Feeling unusually positive actually....1-1 Quinn scoring

Clough still needs to keep the pressure off him somewhat even after the half decent performance on tues.

In usual circumstances a draw would be a good result. Exeter unbeaten at home, us winless away.

Only a couple of players off our strongest eleven available now. We need to back up the midweek performance with another good one.

I'm going for a 2-1 win for the Stags. Go ahead early in the first half. They equalise just after half time and we nick it on 90+7. Goals from Quinn and Johnson. Bang average performance. This thread full of Johnson critics and then he pops up and dispatches the penalty.

We badly need a win..If Maris is fit to play then that would be our strongest team..not convinced Nartey Forrester and Gordon would make a difference..I would be happy with a point , absolutely ecstatic if we win..if we lose the pressure will be back on the Manager and if we lose this week and then next week against Tranmere , he will be gone and deservedly so..with a record of no wins in 15..that's untenable..However if we win tomorrow and win against Tranmere confidence will return and we will start to finally move forward

Exeter unbeaten for 13 games in all competitions (a club record), Mansfield without a win for 13 games in all competitions.

Exeter unbeaten at home for 14 games (the longest unbeaten home run of any of the 92 clubs in the top four divisions in England).

Mansfield have won 5 and drawn one of their eight league games at St James since coming back into the league.

Then along came chip63  ... who muscled in early Weds not giving Paul chance and the fred's gone to pot since then, like our season. The mystical ways of t'fred should not be messed with. ;)

I think Tuesday will have given the players a bit of encouragement and confidence that they know they can play, especially now Quinn is back.

Ideal team for me

Bishop

J Clarke - Rawson - Forrester - McLaughlin

Charsley - O Clarke - Lapslie - Quinn

Hawkins - Johnson

2-1 Stags :D

I see the referee tomorrow has never refereed us away from home, but the twice he has been at the Mill we have been beaten 3-0 by Cheltenham and Cambridge

Vs Cheltenham, Martin said

Sam Purkiss 4 Horrendous performance with mistake after mistake after mistake. And re-watching the game afterwards, the mistakes didn’t look any better.

Vs Cambridge, Martin said

Sam Purkiss 7 Handled the game well.
