Quinn needs to think long on the damage his cards cost.

We move on.

I think he's had long enough to think about it, don't you?

Which was my point.

A very spirited performance so far but will we ever win again? That was a game to win. Missed a pen and a stonewall pen not given. Play like that with that urgency, intensity and desire every game from now on please. Goals will come. Just got to do the ugly stuff well first.

Clough lives to fight another day. But we should have won that. Performance to build on.

Still no win, but sounds like a much better performance and should have won it with the penalty and should have had a second one in the second half.

Much improved performance. Pity about the penalty miss. At least we got something out of the game.

Much improved. Huge relief when the goal went in.

It’s scary how much Quinn improves us. All of a sudden we can look a threat, him and McLaughlin are very good down that side.

They are brilliant together, now if we can get Hawkins back up front we will start winning games

With Hewitt limping off it would depend if that affects the weekend.

I genuinely thought when we went 1-0 down the heads would drop, like they did against northampton or barrow.

In fairness that’s a fair assumption to take given how we’ve been.

That they carried on plugged away and got the point is impressive.

Much work to be done - but the question is where has that performance been hiding?

James Clarke did well though.

Charsley, a figure of some ridicule, played well. For me, Ollie Clarke should make way for ward or Maris at Exeter.

Good performance, just a little toothless upfront.

We will win more than we lose playing like that

Well done Stags and NC

Just back and it was like a different team.
Nearly everything on the deck and they never laid a finger on us except two free kicks.
Talking of which as we were miles away, was their free kick a howler as it seemed to go in the side GK was covering?

What a performance that was, grit determination, composure. Brilliant, surely 1 player can’t make this much difference?!

Best game in a stags shirt for Harry Charlsey by the way

Best performance since Quinn’s last league game, he’s by far the best player we have, we need to look after him and hope he doesn’t get sent off again. We just need fit defenders and to get Hawkins back up front.

Agreed, thought we played good football.

It looked like Laps Charsley and Clarke were trying to match Quinn's overall effort and confidence. When he had the ball they all looked more alive

Looked top corner also could do with another angle

Final ball quality lacking and little movement in the box, and for me Bowery handled the ball and then miscued a pass to Lapslie for the goal , if we persist with Jordan expect more frustration, otherwise lots of effort and desire and if PV are the benchmark we should be fine and won’t go down

Well played Stags, more of that please. If Port Vale are the benchmark we should be around playoffs, they did not look like they believed they could win, but Stags harried them well and got their reward.

O Clarke massive improvement I’ve been a critic of him since he arrived but tonight he showed the quality he has just needs to show that more often, made a big difference in midfield along with Charsley who probably had his best game in a Stags shirt

As s few people have said we need Hawkins back up front and Maris in front of the back four getting us playing and we will be fine

Also Oates never stopped running thought he set the tone for us tonight
