There was never going to be a chance that clough left and i think most sensible posts knew that.

was that run and position in the league great? far from it, will our form change because of that 1 result, time will tell - one thing is for certain we were all damn greatful.

After sunderland we’ve a run of results which will define our season, on paper they’re all winnable - go on a good run and who knows, struggle and we’re back in the muck.

Hopefully that’s provided the confidence for the team to move on.

What is chance of young Nige getting manager of the month for November.

Just needs another couple of wins this week and he would be odds on.

Got to be honest that when I saw the line up and formation yesterday I genuinely feared the worst- especially as to where the goals were coming from with JB alone up front - but he was proven completely right so if my words are mumbling it's just because I'm eating humble pie as I type

Surely you want two more wins this week.

Looking through this post gives me a insight to all the Negative Nellies that throw their dummies out of the pram on this forum when things are tough.
On matchday we show solidarity and cheer the lads on Yellow Yellow we shout and clap their efforts,
But we have nine pages the manager should be sacked and we look for change AGAIN, i dread to think what other fans make of it, the term having a laugh comes to mind.
I have countered 17 plus time for him to go, We have two clubs come match day every one is positive in their support and the Mansfield fan base is positive and supportive
and a joy to be part off, A club pulling together as one.
A good read this thread , Showing how fickle some fans can be

What the latest run of good performances tells me more than anything is that Stephen Quinn is the key. I thought it was ridiculous for Clough to suggest one player would make so much difference but he certainly does. Even when he went off yesterday our performance level dropped substantially.

Quinn is by far our best and most important player.

Totally agree, no matter who replaces Quinn it is just not the same and performances of everyone just drops off a cliff.

He needs players back and then that is the time to judge him.

We cannot repeat what we’ve done for the last few seasons.

Ores of all the over reactions week in week out

The future is bright, the future is Clough

At least a few of us believed in Clough luckily....

Makes an interesting read

I would say he's made up for his error since he came back. Transforms the team.

I still think the six game ban was unfair. You can only get sent off once in a game and 3 games should therefore be the punishment. To add an additional 3 for something the officials missed is against natural justice. If they had seen it he would have been off and 3 games would have been the result. We don’t see retrospective bans when refs miss a second booking so where’s the difference?.

Stephen McLaughlin is a very important player too. Most of our attacks and goals come from Stephen McLaughlin and Stephen Quinn down the left. Some managers talk about having good pairings and combinations on the pitch to create a good team and the McLaughlin/Quinn partnership is massive for the Stags.
