Is that because you don’t want us to knock your team out Gaz?.
Frightened of playing a team that’s actually in the league?

Sunderland away again but with fans this time.
Just looked to see if there's a game on itv Sunday but it's just the draw, seems odd.

I think it would have been a major surprise if ITV had put an FA Cup 4th qualifying round game on TV.
Bromsgrove v Grimsby is available on the BBC iPlayer on Saturday at 12.30.

What are you on about?
The reason is in the post is it not?.... Im simply stating that if we got chesterfield i think we would be easily beaten with our current set of non league std players and that it would cause me non stop p**s taking at work due to being outnumbered by sheep.
I assume you think that we are currently better than chesterfield? In terms of player budget & squad quality i would say were currently not.... Does that make me a chesterfield fan? No

The Excitement for the FA cup is its a one off, and all the smaller clubs look for a draw that brings extra revenue
Losing and winning brings disappointment or joy.
But in the end it is the league campaign that counts, and we have the well known phase, Well we can concentrate on the league now

I say even with our makeshift side we are better than the cheats. Our infra structure and squad are far superior and we aren’t being propped up by the ratepayers. We don’t deal in brown envelopes or rip our fans off with fictitious raffles. Does that make you a Spireshite.. most definitely yes. Oh and we are a league club as well.

Still tickets left for the Curzon Ashton game tomorrow in the away end, playing some non league team from the division above them for the honour of joining the League teams in the FA Cup.
Been told the away team have a League 2 squad so Curzon should be easily beaten.
We will see, come on Curzon.

I’d expect a draw at home or away to a competent conference side would result in a loss.
If we played chesterfield or county now we’d get battered.

Yep I'm with you Adam, I think we'd find it very, very tough atm with zero confidence, zero fire power, and the gum chewer in defence.
Prime candidates for an FA Cup shock on national TV.

don’t agree, even this bunch of Field mill Galácticos with the passion of a full away end would turn up & beat um.
Back to full strength it’s a Stags win for me & by far the highlight to complete dead season

Let's see how they do today with the 'passion of a full away end' (me included) to see whether they thrive or wilt. Walsall say's they can't cope with the expectation.

The Daggers gave us a harder game than Sunderland last season.

That was much harder than expected they played really well.
Went on a decent run the back end of last season and have started this season well also.

There is not a single team still in the competition that I fancy our chances against. Usually love the FA cup but dread it this year.
