York City Dan I know texted me this when I questioned whether anyone with footballing knowledge was advising the foreign owners

Not sure. Been coming for a few weeks. Rumours of losing the dressing room. Not getting best out of team at all. Dropped top scorer. Relegation fodder unfortunately. Only one way we are going at the moment and that isn't upwards. Huge squad of wannabes taking a big payday and not performing.

Hinshelwood has done a fabulous job at Worthing. I watched his Worthing team a lot around 2017, I went to 7 home games that season as they were playing a lot of Wednesday night games, when they Omar Bugiel up front. And they have come a long way since then.

John Coleman and Jimmy Bell have had their contracts terminated with immediate effect by Accringron Stanley after 10 years running the club (23 years in two managerial spells).

They are not going to get better than those two working on a shoestring budget.

Yeah they’ve worked miracles for that club and are very well respected

Andy Holt sacked John Coleman and Jimmy Bell and then deleted his twitter account which is very strange behaviour. It's not like him.

Could very easily start a slide back into non-league oblivion that. They were always punching massively above their weight.

Had a big fall out, always seemed to be on the cards. Disgraceful treatment.

Even if John Coleman had only ever kept them in League 2 let alone given them 5 seasons in League 1 he'd have done brilliantly there

I remember their chairman going off on twitter a bit ago about Coleman and Bell wanting new contracts despite being relegates from L1

Astonishing decision at Accy. There must be something going on behind the scenes there. Manager and owner are fixtures at that club and both deserve medals for what they've achieved

Although the decision not to let him see the contract out is silly (I reckon something probably happened behind the scenes) the stick Holt is getting is still out of hand, £5m of his own money he’s put in to the infrastructure at Accy.

John Coleman and Jimmy Bell guided Accrington Stanley to three promotions to return to the EFL in 2006 and then returned later to win the League 2 Championship in 2017-2018 beating big spending Luton Town, Coventry City, Notts County, Lincoln City and Mansfield Town. A massive achievement.

Accrington Stanley should put up some John Coleman and Jimmy Bell statues outside the ground. They are legends. Accrington are never going to get better than those two working on a shoestring budget. Accrington have been punching above their weight for years thanks to John and Jimmy (and Eric Whalley and Andy Holt). Perhaps they will come back again in the future and guide Accrington to further success.

I think this moves Nigel up to 9th in the longest serving manager in the present 92 league clubs.

Simon Weaver at Harrogate is at no.1

Juergen Klopp is at number 2…..for a few more games anyway

It’s not necessarily the decision to sack them that I disagree with, like you say the owner puts the money in so he can do as he pleases, but I think the statement they put out showed a complete lack of class given the years (mostly incredibly successful) of service, as did slagging them off on social media.
