John Yems has also been charged by the FA. Getting a red card against Hartlepool at home and his post match interview may not have helped

There's a tweet going round that Steve Evans was at Bradford's game, so the rumours are flying about that he's in contention for their job.

Bit of a meltdown from their fans at the prospect.

Can't see how he would have been at the game and nobody else noticed though.

Hardly difficult to spot is he?

Probably takes up two seats like that one who used to sit in the WSL.

Reading sacked their boss after a 3-1 win at Preston to bring in Paul Ince.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

Bizarre, never understand why you’d sack a manager after a great win like that, hardly much of a replacement is he.

Did he forget his time with us in league two or just thought it may not do him any favours?

I listened to the Darragh macanthony (posh chairman) podcast with Steve Evans. Darragh reckons Evans would have Bradford in the championship within 3 years on a small budget

He should employ him if he thinks that, they’d be above Peterborough with the way it’s looking

"I had good chats with both clubs, but they never woke me up next morning thinking: 'Wow, what a project this is..' The last time I went into League Two was with Rotherham and I remember meeting Tony and Richard Stewart and the board. I went up the next morning so excited. I never got that feeling (with the two clubs I spoke to).

Evans not previously at the stags in League 2 then?

I wouldn't believe a word he says. The fact he claims his last league 2 job was at Rotherham underlines that. Wouldn't surprise me if there's been no contact at all.

He's also going on about how important it was when he was at Leeds and Rotherham that he lived in the place where the club was and that he'd do the same if he went to Bradford. Didn't he live in Peterborough though, when he managed us?!
