It's been reported by The Telegraph chief football writer Sam Wallace that Gills are "insisting on full £130,000 compensation."

Well within their rights. Think it was rumoured that Stags got £250,000 for Evans when he left for Peterborough although Darragh MacAnthony said it was the best £150,000 Mansfield ever got.

Sounds like Evans is trying to flush a new contract out from Gillingham and using Stevenage as a stalking horse.

The club probably had to pay most of that ( if not all ) to Swindon when they poached David Flitcroft.

Stag 95 - I think if you remove everything after the ? (s=21) then the link will work

Keith Curle's Record at Oldham

P37 W9 D8 L20 Win Rate = 24%

His win rates have generally been very good at his other clubs
Northampton Town 40%
Carlisle United 39%
Notts County 45%
Torquay United 13%
Mansfield Town 38%

“Curle's departure means that it is owner Abdallah Lemsagam's ninth change in head coach since his arrival at the club in 2018.“

Hmmmm, I suspect the problems at Oldham are not entirely managerial.

I've heard from a trusted source the compensation is actually 1 crispy shredded duck, 1 beef in black bean sauce, 1 sweet and sour chicken 2 singapore noodles, 3 egg fried rice and a bowl of crackers. And thats without Dodgy putting his order in.

I heard that as the whole of the coaching set up goes it is a set meal for twelve………and that is just for Evans. The others get to share some prawn toast.

Hibernian P32 W32 D12 L11 Win Rate 38%
Leeds United P16 W4 D4 L8 Win Rate 25%

I bet the Blades supporters are absolutely elated at that appointment. ....Paul Heckinbottom or Chris Wilder from this time last year.

How the mighty have fallen. Always rated Paul Tisdale but really surprised he's gone to Stevenage even if he badly needs to get back to doing what he's good at.
