If we played that game for your transfer news, we'd be leathered all the time

What exactly has he shown to warrant the job, results wise? On the positive for them, He's cheap already in the role and knows the club. But they're definitely down.

Apparently they had 130 applicants. He must be the cheap option. I’d assume they can let him go for nothing if they go down.

As predicted but Gary McSheffrey only managed to win one game. I also assume Frank Sinclair will continue as assistant manager as part of the good cop/bad cop routine. McSheffrey stays calm whilst Sinclair screams at the players.

Donny need to start searching for a manager who can win promotion from League 2.

I suspect his agent would strongly advise against it. His father being there for a couple of years shouldn't override the stench of impending disaster at the club and the fact that he would only get in their team next season in L2

They have been replaced by former Gateshead and York City manager Steve Watson (Newcastle, Villa, Everton) who has appointed Big Steve McNulty as his assistant manager. Steve Watson signed McNulty for York City.

Wednesday were on a 12 match unbeaten run in league 1 prior to that defeat so would be a little harsh.

It's not that long ago Wendy won the reverse fixture 3-0 and Sunderland fans were wanting Lee Johnson sacked.
Now they're top of the league. It's almost as if us footie fans know jack all about the game we obsess over.
