And most of FGR's team will probably move on so it's a smart decision from him. He'll get a good payout when he's sacked in 3 months anyway

We would all have taken Watford’s job over FGR…………without a conscience!!! Vince has been pooed on but that’s sport. We’d all take the big pay rise I think.

Salford City sack Gary Bowyer. Michael Appleton is the favourite to replace him.

Not surprised they have sacked Bowyer, they sack every manager that doesn't bring instant success.

What a poisoned chalice that club is while dont the owners manage it, Neville knows it all he did well at Valencia he recorded the lowest win percentage in La Liga history for the club.
Dec 2015 until March 2016 Nearly 3 months, and now back telling every body else how to do the job.
Come on SKY keep giving them cash

They will get bored with their play set eventually. Or fed up that they can't get out of league 2 despite chucking boat loads of money at managers and players every year

Absolute nothing career and got a cushy job coaching united youth teams... what a poor appointment. Id be very unhappy if I were a Salford fan.

Neal Bishop and Damon Parkinson have been appointed joint managers of Gainsborough Trinity. A few former Stags have managed the Holy Blues including Ernie Moss, Greg Fee, Phil Stant, Steve Charles, Adie Moses and Curtis Woodhouse. Neil Warnock, Leighton James and Brian Little have also managed them.

Not sure his playing career has any bearing on his ability to coach.

I’ve no idea if he’ll be any good or not but you can see the logic when coaches from a similar background have proved a success over the last couple of years.

Swindon to Charlton, I suppose a bigger club and a division higher.
