I will disagree with the choice of sub when Maris got injured, in my book Ward should have come on not Oates.
Oates continues to disappoint, his first touch is woeful.

Or kellan will play ahead of him on the right wing.

Neither did John Robertson, Gary Ford and many others, its about making that yard for a good delivery.......not sure his delivery is up to it though

He does try but only has a success rate of about 1 in 3

Hes 23, don't write him off yet
If he had a solid defender behind him and didn't have to fear losing the ball, like his mistake at home to Rochdale was it? He'd probably develop and be decent at this level.
Certainly got the attributes to be dangerous at this level but the club need to work with him to nail down one position. Clear to me hes played many games at RB and can do a job there but I reckon he'd prefer to be a winger and if thats what he had to focus on would probably do well.
Hes struggled at RB because of the diamond, theres no bugger there to support him going forward or bail him out at the other end.
If it were me playing football manager, id have Clarke at RB, and Gordon in front of him

Good interview that. Comes across as a really nice lad. Hope he gets the chance of having a few starts in a row.
He did very little wrong yesterday and I think he'll get better the more he plays and feels part of it.

He got "bamboozled" a few times yesterday but a clean sheet is an excellent start to add to the one at Port Vale last season.
