And surely it is far more important to get a loanee who could be a key first team player involved with the squad rather than someone who is not likely to feature at all this season. Clough said on Radio Nottingham that 45 minutes was too much, he did not say he would not have played him for the last 10-15 minutes if the game situation had allowed. It's just criticism for criticism sake, it had absolutely no bearing whatsoever on the game.
No, it isn’t. It just made no sense if he had no intention of playing him, he could have done all the pre match routine etc. It just didn’t make any sense. Try not to get too excited. I agree that it had no bearing on the game
