There’s enough free agents out there.

Nartey i think (hope) will come good, he can’t have been on the fringes of the burnley side for nothing.

Rawson - we know he’s limited but least we know what we’ll get. guess will see tomorrow

Time for Nigel to remind us how good a manager he is.

Why is it necessary Andy?
I think Rawson and Hewitt can't cope without a presence by their side. Perch provided this and by virtue of his height Hawkins is the next best thing. The jury still out with me on the new guy, but so far he seems similar to the other two. You build from the back with a solid defence. I'm not an advocate of you score two goals and we will score three.

You missed my sarcastic point Andy  I really wanted you to throw off those Amber specs and admit because the manager has completely clucked up

" Completely chucked up" is overstating it in my view. Not handled it well maybe. Thing is he now needs to show what a good manager he is.

Would be great if you could get him as a guest for the ifollow commentary.
I'm sure he would of had loads to say against Walsall.

Hes guy I'd like on the staff at the club, the board would benefit from someone like him involved.

Not sure how true but heard a few people say he wanted to come to Mansfield much sooner than he did. He loves the town and is proud of it and wants us to do well.

More gutted the more I think about it. Get well soon Perchy

At his age I'd be surprised if he didn't look at going into coaching now & didn't play again.

If it is the end of his playing career it would be nice to have Florist at the Mill pre-season for the James Perch Trophy.

I agree, he’s played for some big clubs at a top level. He’s got the experience that very few have at this level and I hope the club can tap into that.

Raul Jimenez for Wolves now wears a protective head covering in matches after recovering from a fractured skull a year ago.
Wondered if any player could wear this in games, it would of helped Marris with his blow to the temple on Saturday.

He also took it off the other week when he headed wide when he should’ve scored, I can’t see players willing to wear them.
