Are they a pub team if they smash us? Above us in the league before the game too. People don't give Harrogate enough respect, just because they've come from non league doesn't give us any right to expect to walk all over them
If they are a pub team, what does that make us?

They certainly aren’t a pub team. They are the league leaders with a game in hand.
That attitude towards rivals is one reason we don’t achieve. We have to wake up and roll our sleeves up and respect the opposition. Until we do, we will keep falling on our faces.
Hello! Hello! We are the North Stand Boys.

What an utter raspberry you are....
Why are they a pub team? They earned their place in this league and were by far the better side.. its clear to see why they are top of the league unbeaten.

No question, they are a good team. Although we didn't help ourselves. Our discipline severely lacking today.

Talking about yourself there or?
How can you call a well organised side that are top of the league with a game in hand a pub-side? Notice how long their manager has been there... gives you a clue to what brings success doesn't it.

Quicker into the tackle, more determination and grit than we had today and they scared the life out of our two centre halves who hardly won a header between them.

Harrogate are most definitely not a pub team, outplayed us in every area today and have a good set of lads, i'm sure they will be pushing for the top half of the table this year.

Irrespective of the history of your opponents, whether they have been in the league one year or ten, if you are in the same league as then you are the same level. At the start of the season there are no bragging rights as all are unknown. We were beaten by a team that play at our level and that were better drilled, organised and motivated. They weren’t a pub team Norman just better than us.
Much better than us, and for that reason alone they should receive the plaudits and not derision that is so undeserving.

I think you will find we are the ones that are starting to look like a pub team, not Harrogate. They play with conviction every time the play. We have played them 4 times over the last two seasons and guess what they have beaten us every time.

Well done to the manager & his tactics. Stopped us playing out from the back so Bishop's only option was to kick towards Hawkins who was marked by two tall CHs. They pressed us all game & like Newport of old had plenty of training pitch moves.
Park this one, onwards & upwards.

There loan signing on the left wing was very good ,Diamond from Sunderland ,yes they were masters of the ref wind up with organised ref mobbing at every foul .
But they were also better than us on the day

Agreed - thought Diamond was the class player on the pitch. Left a couple of Stags' players wrongfooted with a clever drop of the shoulder and a quick turn away on a couple of occasions and played well throughout.
Sunderland and the top of League One must be good if they want to put him out on loan and not play him in their first team, or at least have him on the bench.

With a strong bench and 20 minutes left, being 1-2 down their is time to change the game, two red cards ended the contest..
4 reds in 3 games can change a result, are Mansfield a dirty team, i dont think so.
Harrogate were playing well, but a lot can happen in 20 minutes
