Well it certainly looks the part, but then again, so have the previous two (or is it three?).

Maybe not so much a waste if it’s reliable and generates advertising revenue. Not sure if I’d pay for an advert until it’s proven though.

Its an eyesore ,better to get rid of it and tidy that side up ,at least it will look like we plan to do something with it

It covers alot of ground but it always seems rooted to the spot. Maybe it's the 3rd keeper?

They should go all retro and bring back a replica of the old Quarry Lane box with the A to Z for half time scores….

On the (very) odd occasions they managed to get this embarrassing edifice lit up, you couldn’t see anything if the sun was out.

Agree with the view that the scoreboard is pretty pointless. Money would be better spent elsewhere.

Simply put, the scoreboard makes the Bishop Street eyesore even worse, and reflects really badly on the club.

The whole stand needs redeveloping and the infrastructure to support an up-to-date scoreboard being integral to that.

The whole thing is a laughing stock and has been for years. I don't know what Radford's waiting for. Prepare for L1 and above by building it now, not waiting until we can't do without it to think about redevelopment.

What's the point in spending money on developing a stand that we don't need ?
Average attendance in L1 over the last 5 full seasons was between 7,500 and 8,500 so apart from the odd game our current capacity is more than adequate.
Great strides have been made in the infrastructure of the club in an attempt to make it more self-sustainable and you now want to saddle it with the expense/debt of demolishing and rebuilding an unrequired stand.
All it will do is spread the existing crowd out further and increase the matchday cost to the club as additional staff and stewards would be required.
I am sure JR will do something with it when it is needed, but now is not the time.

Or, flip it on it's head: why aren't we investing in our future during a period of minimal disruption.

If we started the process now it might be functional for a L1 campaign, IE, when it's needed - as you say.

My approach is proactive, yours is responsive.

The scoreboard and the bishop are both awful and something drastic needs to happen either way.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.
