First 3 away games at Newport, Colchester and Swindon too which is poor.

Two ways of looking at that. You could say it gives us a chance to play fancied teams before they have had a chance to fully establish their mode of play, catching them cold so to speak. Their squads may also not be complete.

Of course if we fair badly it could also put our own progress back but I have faith in Clough to get our pre season right. We have to play them all at some stage.

Lots of southern based games in the early part of the season. Good.

The FGR and Salford games as last 2 could be deciders?

Would hope we'd be resting players in those games ready for the FA Cup final

Was hoping for away at somewhere like Newport as the first game which ironically is the 2nd fixture. I'm at a wedding on the 7th and this has knocked a few off the evening attendance as the Stags fans that are invited will want to attend the match.

Tough start.

So its Bristol Rovers at home , what a game young Joey Barton determined to get the club promoted to League 1, completed a clear out of deadwood and ready to put his stamp on the club.
Perhaps now is good time to play them, Clough will have to guard against a party atmosphere, as Barton will have his team wound up.
If fans are allowed to this game it will be emotional, so could compensate for limited away fans. but a good start to the 2021/22 season.

I probably would too mate. It depends on how we got it. If the new strikers missed 2 easy chances each then this place would be in meltdown

Has anyone noticed that the away trip to Rochdale, which everyone loves purely for the chippy behind the away end, is actually on New Years Day, so the chippy might be closed?!

Least we know which league we are in , No sympathy for Derby but I would have thought difficult for Wycombe have budgeted for , released and signed players for a League 1 campaign . Could be interesting.

COLCHESTER United are listed at 8/1 to win promotion this season, following the release of the League Two fixtures for the 2021/22 season.

The U’s are viewed at those odds to win automatic promotion from the fourth tier, according to bookmakers William Hill’s outright odds.

Hayden Mullins’ side are also regarded at 10/3 for a top-seven finish.

Salford City, managed by Gary Bowyer, are listed as 6/4 favourites for the League Two title by most bookmakers, followed by Nigel Clough’s Mansfield Town side and then Bristol Rovers, who were relegated froM div1

I was saying this yesterday when all the Derby fans were moaning on EMT. Wycombe could end up being the innocent victims of all this. Setting themselves up with a L1 club and then having to try and compete in the Championship. Surely any decision now should lead to a points deduction being applied to the upcoming season, not changing the position of a season that ended well over a month ago ?

If I were Wycombe I would take my chance and try and go for it.

Playing in the championship must surely bring in bigger crowds even if it’s only the away fans. The alternative is trying to gain promotion from a very competitive league 1. If they don’t want the chance give it to us as I’m sure most fans would jump at it.
