As good as the lad may be, at 21 he is a risk if he is next seasons nailed on first choice?

Cheltenham won the league with a 19 year old in goal. His age is not a problem if he has the ability.

If we can move Stech on we still need a 3rd goalkeeper. Maybe some of the experienced keepers we are missing out on is due to Stech still be in in the building?

Going with older experienced goalkeepers hasn't worked in recent years. Not had a quality one since Marriott.

Not true. Rod Arnold was 18 when he made his debut for us. Donnarumma was 16 when he started for Milan and 17 when he played for Italy.

This lad and the younger keeper who seemed to sign last week plus stech or an older keeper seems good to me.

Bishop has signed (from what I can gather he signed last week) and is to be announced soon I'm told.

I think Rod Arnold is by far the best goalkeeper I have seen in a Stags shirt. Anything we name again should be named after him.

If he had been taller I’m sure he would have played at a higher level. An outstanding keeper

No I understand he was with his agent (identity unknown) talking to David Sharpe. The players were apparently in for a photo shoot in the new shirts. It could indicate he’s going to be the new number 1 unless the other keepers either aren’t confirmed or were unavailable.

I suppose they wouldn’t use Stech if they want him to move on.
