I was very critical of Reid last season, but there in no doubt that he works hard and presses the ball.

I think he’ll be better if he isn’t carrying the pressure of being the main goal scorer.

If we added McAleny or similar then I would be very happy to have Reid, Bowery and Sinclair as part of the striking options

Danny johnson is just entering his prime years as a forward he turned 28 this year and we've got him on a 2 year deal. If he rips up league 2 this season and we don't get promoted we will likely get a fee for him because he's the right age and banging goals in and signed a 2 year deal.

We are a good paying club that is stable coming out of the pandemic (I know its not over yet it's more from a football perspective) top players want top wages and some clubs can't afford it. Look at Naylor considering joining a league 2 club. It's a strange time and we are in a financial position to exploit it. Having Clough in charge is the cherry on the top for most players.

A very interesting listen with a young man who is knowledgeable about our league. Sam also did well.

I’m not sure JR will be happy that Gab has appointed Sharpe as chairman though :D

Well worth the time.

Always thought Cook Maynard would of been a good partnership, and definitely think Johnson Akins would be a great front 2 , fingers crossed we get Akins

At least Jamie Reid knows how to play a perfect through ball to DJ already.
