I guessed him a few weeks ago, would take him back in a heartbeat.

We’ve already got one forward that can do the donkey work who’ll take 1 in 52 attempts in Jordan, we don’t need another one.

Hemmings record for us wasn’t that bad considering it took him about 10 games to get his first goal.

His link up play was very good.

Judging by some Hemmings comments he's the worst player to have ever worn the shirt. Better goalscoring record than Bowery and Reid.

Hemmings is without a doubt a big improvement on anything we have now, but his finishing was incredibly frustrating, depends on who else we sign upfront.

I’m slightly surprised some people make out the Hemmings wasn’t good before and isn’t good enough going forward.

For me he has a good first touch, would link up nicely with our midfielders, operates well between the width of the box which is what we need, and he has scored goals wherever he has been.

It took him a while to get going here but once he got that first goal he averaged a goal every two games, and this season just gone for Burton Albion in League one he scored 15 goals in 36 games, averaging a goal every 163 minutes which is obviously very good. He missed some good chances admittedly, but they all do at this level. I’d be delighted to have him back personally.

Kane scored 15 in 37 games for us, which is good. 15 in 36 just this season with Burton in the league above us. He must be one the most underrated players amongst our fanbase this club has ever had.

How anyone can make out that Hemmings either isn’t a good striker or isn’t good enough to improve us is absolutely ludicrous. He’s streets ahead of Jamie Reid, and Danny Rose for that matter, who half of our fanbase would absolutely love to have back

Plus when we had Hemmings none of our midfielders ever scored Bishop, MacDonald, Mellis rarely scored to take some of the pressure off the strikers. We've now got Lapslie, Clarke and Sinclair (okay a winger) who scored a few and Quinn got a couple too but obviously he's not ours.... yet

We could do a lot worse than Hemmings and I'd have him back

I’d love Hemmings back, he was decent for us and would be better than the rest of our current strikers.

He's also likely to leave and picked up and injury last week to his ankle but should be back for the new campaign.

Hemmings numbers last season are pretty impressive.

A host of top clubs were apparently interested in Tanser and he’s joined St Mirren….

I wonder sometimes if our name is just used by agents to help in negotiations.

I don't see how that would help in this case.
