Wigan when we played them in the cup. Think they were non league, stood on an embankment, one stand, awful ground.

So just to clarify, chesterfield drew 0-0 with wealdstone (i have absolutely no idea where that is) when they’ve conceded like 4, 5,4,6,7 in the last 10 games and lost the last previous 7.

That’s impressive

and have a goal difference of -49 (minus forty nine)

Wealdstone is north-west London. Though the ground is a few miles away in Ruislip. I have watched them play Woking there. Nice little ground.

If everything had gone to plan for Wealdstone some years ago they would have been playing at the Hive (Barnet’s ground) now.

The club attempted to redevelop the local disused Prince Edward Playing Fields at Canons Park, owned by the London Borough of Harrow, into a new home ground. Construction of the new stadium started in 2003 but, when over 30% completed, building work was suddenly halted in April 2004 when the private company who were co-financing the project in partnership with the club went into insolvency. Unable to afford to complete the new stadium on their own, Wealdstone were forced to leave the site unfinished for two years, until Harrow Council, frustrated that the site was still unused and falling into disrepair, eventually sold the site lease to Barnet F.C., who used it as a training centre before later moving permanently in to what became The Hive Stadium in 2013.

Ah.

having reviewed this wealdstone with their -49 goal difference, was always good to see what their record against our little blue friends was.

wait, wealdstone 3-2 chesterfield chesterfield 0-0 wealdstone

so, despite an incredible -49 goal difference it’s actually +1 against chesterfield

Agreed fantastic little set up there. They’ve just finished another new stand behind the goal as well.

HT: Wrexham 0 Notts County 1
County have played really well and dominated the first half. Jim O'Brien tested the Wrexham keeper Lainton a few times from distance and County put plenty of crosses in but Shaun Pearson and Fiacre Kelleher dealt with them well for Wrexham. Luke Young shot narrowly wide for Wrexham on 25 minutes with their first meaningful attack but then Jake Reeves fired one into the bottom left corner from 35 yards. Mark Ellis made a great block to stop a shot that beat the Slocombe but then bounced over the bar. Calvin Miller and Ruben Rodrigues are causing problems down the left for Wrexham.

Let's hope that Wrexham can make another good 2nd half comeback.

County only need another 16 goals and they could be in with a chance of guaranteed playoffs.

Come on Eastleigh
